Det händer mycket inom illustration - nya möjligheter och utmaningar växer fram. Att vilja jobba som illustratör har aldrig varit mer populärt och det märks på hur många som söker till kursen. Trots detta har branchen och vilkoren blivit tuffare för många frilansande illustratörer. Vikten att skapa bilder som berättar och vill vara med och påverka och samtala med samtiden har aldrig varit viktigare!
Den här terminen har vi varit den största gruppen på 38 stycken deltagare sedan kursen startade 2020. Nytt för i år är att vi jobbat med redaktionell illustration
samt att skapa mock-ups (exempel kan ni se nedan). Tack alla deltagare för kloka ord och engagemang under våra veckor tillsammans!

A lot is happening in the illustration world; new opportunities and challenges are emerging. The profession of illustrator has never been more popular, and it shows in the number of people who apply for the course. Despite this, the industry and working conditions have become tougher for many freelance illustrators. The creation of images that tell a story, sharing experience, and debating ideas with others has never been more important!
This semester, we have the largest group of participants (38) since the course started in 2020. New activities for this year include editorial illustration and the creation of mock-ups (you can see examples below). Thanks to all the participants for their good words and commitment during our weeks together!
